2 Player Undercover Chess — Play a Friend Online

1. Choose a computer difficulty or create a private room and invite one friend.
2. Each king and the three pawns in front of it start face up and loyal. The other 12 pieces are shuffled face down, including three enemy agents on each side.
3. On your turn, either move one revealed piece or reveal any covered piece on the board without moving it.
4. A covered piece cannot move, capture, attack, or give check until it is revealed.
5. A covered piece's background shows which side currently controls it. Being captured or choosing Reveal exposes its real identity.
6. A loyal piece stays under your control. An enemy agent immediately switches to its real side.
7. Every action passes the turn. A reveal or betrayal never grants an extra response move.
8. When your turn begins in check, covered pieces cannot move or be revealed in place.
9. Checkmate the opposing king to win the match.
10. In a private match, every turn has 60 seconds. A timeout skips the turn; three timeouts lose the match.

They do not move or attack. Spend a turn revealing a covered piece before it can use its normal movement.
